Terms of Service

Last Updated: August 6, 2025

Welcome to Tickowt! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Tickowt website and services (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Tickowt Ltd. ("Tickowt", "we", "us", or "our").

By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.

1. Our Service

Tickowt provides a platform for event organizers ("Organizers") to create event pages, sell tickets, and manage their events. We act as an intermediary to facilitate ticket sales between Organizers and ticket buyers ("Attendees").

Tickowt is not the creator, organizer, or owner of the events listed on the Service. Our responsibilities are limited to providing the platform. We are not responsible for the event itself, including but not limited to, event quality, cancellations, postponements, or refund policies, all of which are the sole responsibility of the Organizer.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information (name and email address).
  • Maintain the security of your password and accept all risks of unauthorized access to your account.
  • Promptly notify us if you discover or otherwise suspect any security breaches related to the Service.

4. Fees, Payments, and Refunds

4.1. Payments

  • For Attendees: All payments for tickets are processed through our third-party payment processor, Stripe. Tickowt does not store or have access to your credit card or bank account information. By purchasing a ticket, you agree to be bound by Stripe's Services Agreement.
  • For Organizers: To receive payments, Organizers must create a Stripe Standard account, which is subject to the Stripe Connected Account Agreement. Payouts from ticket sales, minus our service fee, will be transferred directly to your Stripe account.

4.2. Service Fees

Tickowt charges a small percentage fee on each ticket sold, which is disclosed to the Organizer during the event creation process. This fee is automatically deducted from the ticket price before the funds are transferred to the Organizer's Stripe account.

4.3. Refund Policy and Liability

All transactions made on the Tickowt platform are between the Attendee and the respective Organizer.

Tickowt Ltd. is not responsible for, and is not liable for, issuing refunds. The responsibility to establish a refund policy and to provide any refunds lies solely with the Organizer.

Any Attendee seeking a refund—for any reason, including event cancellation, postponement, or dissatisfaction—must contact the event Organizer directly. Tickowt does not hold funds on behalf of users and, as such, is not in a position to initiate or process any refunds.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use the Service to create, promote, or manage any event, or post any content, that is:

  • Illegal, fraudulent, or promotes illegal activities.
  • Sexually explicit, pornographic (NSFW), or depicts graphic violence.
  • Predatory, harassing, defamatory, or hateful towards any individual or group.
  • In violation of any third party's intellectual property rights.
  • Related to spam, malware, or phishing schemes.

We reserve the right to remove any content and suspend or terminate any account that violates these rules without notice.

6. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tickowt Ltd. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the service; (b) any conduct or content of any third party on the service, including event organizers; (c) any content obtained from the service.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect.
